The Common Ground Alliance (CGA), the national nonprofit trade association focused on safeguarding underground utility infrastructure and the communities that depend on it, has announced revised dates for its 2021 CGA Conference & Expo. The event will now take place Oct. 12–15, 2021, following the decision to accommodate members facing travel limitations during the first half of the year.

Originally scheduled for March 2–5, 2021, the conference has been moved to ensure broader participation from stakeholders across the damage prevention industry.

A Week Focused on Damage Prevention Leadership

The 2021 CGA Conference & Expo is designed as a high-level gathering for decision-makers committed to advancing underground utility damage prevention. The October program will convene executives, managers, and industry leaders for intensive collaboration aimed at addressing persistent operational and safety challenges.

The conference theme centers on innovation and shared responsibility, with structured programming that includes:

  • Strategic roundtable discussions
  • Targeted educational presentations
  • Interactive breakout sessions
  • Structured networking events
  • A technology-driven Expo floor

These components are intended to foster practical dialogue and generate solutions that can move the industry closer to its goal of eliminating damages to underground facilities.

Commitment from Sponsors and Participants

CGA confirmed that all sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers originally scheduled for the 2021 event remain aligned with the new October dates. Additionally, registered attendees have been contacted directly regarding the schedule change.

Industry professionals are encouraged to subscribe for updates to receive information about educational tracks, keynote speakers, and other programming announcements.
