Welcome to the DirectionsMag Geospatial Community Blog, https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/directionsmag-blog! I am DM’s copyeditor and blog mediator, Rebeckah Flowers, and I can’t wait to introduce you to the many geospatial experts that have become part of the DirectionsMag family over our 20+ years serving the geospatial community!

In this blog, you will find answers to our readers’ most frequently asked questions about geospatial technologies and join us for explorations of topics requested by our hundreds of webinar attendees. Our goal is for every blog post to provide you with easy-to-implement information for advancing your career or skillset, with links to resources and tools to facilitate further learning. Each post will be short and quick, so you can fit them into your busy schedule and follow-up on the resources when it is convenient for you.

Although I will be posting the blog entries, they will be written by a variety of experts in various geospatial fields. We’ll include links to each author’s pages/websites so you can follow your favorites. If there’s anything you’d like us to cover, reach out to us at editors@directionsmag.com.
