WEBINARS
Q: What topics do our readers most likely welcome on our webinar?
A: The geospatial community supports a wide variety of topics. They also understand that our sponsors have services to sell. They like to see how it works in demos and how it fits into their typical or unique workflows.
Q: How many will register?
A: The number depends on the topic. Our average is 400; however, be aware that a more niched topic also has a more niched (smaller) audience. Remember that the title and tone of the description are important elements in this calculation.
Q: Which days/ times are the best for a webinar?
A: We do not recommend webinars on Mondays or Fridays. The middle days of the week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, are best. The time depends on your target audience's location. We post times based on Eastern US. For the Americas, lunch or right after are popular. If you're hoping to reach a European audience, start earlier around 10 or 11 in the morning, but it might be early for the US west coasters.
Q: What type of information can we collect from the attendee?
A: We can collect as much or as little as you like. At a minimum, we'll need name and email address. We can create custom questions to suit your needs.
Q: How long will the webinar be on the DM website?
A: Forever. We'll collect registration until the live webinar ends. For a month after the webinar, we'll collect viewers name and email, and beyond that time, we'll embed the webinar video on the page as well as share on our Vimeo and YouTube channels.

EMAIL & WEBSITE ADS
Q: How often should I change my ad materials?
A: For website ads, once a month is a good rule. For email ads, consider having a couple of versions that we can rotate throughout the life of your campaign.
Q: What type of ad or banner gets the most bang for the buck?
A: The most important thing to consider about ads is your goal. If you want brand awareness and impressions, explore ad cards. If you want promotions and clicks, explore content ads. Our spotlight ad service is the best value as it includes an ad card on our homepage top location, run of site ad card locations, and a website content ad.
