Geovation Welcomes the Next Wave of GeoTech and PropTech Innovators

Geovation has unveiled the latest group of early-stage companies selected to join its accelerator programme, showcasing a diverse mix of GeoTech and PropTech ideas. From smarter farming tools and drone-based inspections to AI-driven rooftop analytics and digital property platforms, the new cohort reflects how location and land data continue to drive innovation across multiple industries.
Seven startups have been accepted into the Geovation Programme, where they will receive strategic support from Ordnance Survey (OS) and HM Land Registry (HMLR). Each business is eligible for up to £20,000 in grant funding, alongside access to specialist resources designed to help founders refine, build, and scale their products.
Alex Wrottesley, Head of Geovation, highlighted the strength of this year’s applications, noting that the selected teams represent a particularly high standard. He emphasised that the programme is built to accelerate progress by combining mentoring, structured workshops, and a founder-focused environment. One of Geovation’s distinguishing features is its in-house software development team, which works directly with participating startups to help deliver working products more quickly than many traditional accelerators.
GeoTech Startups in the New Cohort
The GeoTech companies joining the programme focus on applying spatial data and digital tools to real-world challenges:
- Mothive delivers automated agronomy insights to help farm managers improve efficiency, reduce waste, and better control crop outcomes.
- Pocket Pals uses mobile gaming and animation to encourage families and young people to engage with wildlife in their local environments.
- Trikis provides a 3D mapping and reporting solution that transforms drone-collected data into detailed digital inspection reports accessible on mobile devices.
PropTech Businesses Accepted onto the Programme
The PropTech members of the cohort are tackling challenges across property management, transactions, and urban development:
- Skyscape applies artificial intelligence to rooftop analysis, helping asset managers identify opportunities to increase the value and utility of rooftop space.
- ThirdFort offers enhanced security tools aimed at streamlining property transactions for solicitors.
- Fruumi is an end-to-end shared accommodation platform designed to reduce risk and cost for landlords while improving the tenant experience.
- Hipl focuses on transparency in property transactions, enabling buyers to demonstrate their position earlier and helping sellers and agents qualify serious buyers.
A Proven Accelerator Model
Since launching in 2016, the Geovation Hub has supported more than 900 GeoTech and PropTech startups. Its accelerator programme provides access to authoritative location and land data, experienced software developers, and industry mentors, helping founders prepare for investment and commercial growth. To date, 65 startups have completed the programme, collectively raising more than £17 million in investment.
Previous participants frequently point to the combination of funding, workspace, expert guidance, and access to OS and HMLR data as transformative for their businesses. Founders also highlight the collaborative culture of the hub and the value of being part of a focused community working at the intersection of technology, location, and property.
By bringing together geospatial expertise, property insight, and startup support, Geovation continues to play a key role in shaping the future of location-based innovation in the UK.
